Refunds, returns, and our craft promise.

We design furniture meant to outlive trends. Still, things happen — this policy explains exactly when you can return a piece or recover credits, and how long it will take.

Credit purchases

Unused credits can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase to the original payment source. After 14 days, unused credits remain on your account but are no longer cash-refundable.

  • Bonus credits earned via promotions are non-refundable.
  • Promotional discounts are forfeited if the underlying order is refunded.
  • Refunds are issued in the currency you paid in.

Catalog (in-stock) furniture

Pieces from our ready-made catalog can be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are in original condition and packaging. We arrange white-glove pickup at your address. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the piece arriving back at our depot.

Pickup is free within the EU; outside the EU we deduct the actual logistics cost from the refund.

Custom commissions

Bespoke pieces are made to your specification (wood species, finish, dimensions, textile). Under §312g BGB they are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal. However:

  • You may cancel within 72 hours of order confirmation for a full refund — before joinery begins.
  • Between 72 hours and the start of upholstery, we refund 70% (materials already cut).
  • Once upholstery or finishing has begun, the commission is non-refundable.
  • Defects, damage in transit, or mis-specification on our side are always remedied at our cost — repair, remake, or full refund at your choice.

Warranty claims

Our 5-year structural warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. To open a claim, email photographs and your order reference to [email protected]. We respond within 5 business days and dispatch a technician where needed.

How to request a refund

  1. Open your dashboard → Orders → the order in question.
  2. Click Request refund and pick a reason.
  3. We acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm next steps.
  4. Approved refunds land back to your original method within 14 days.

Exceptions & non-refundable items

  • Bespoke pieces already in the finishing or upholstery stage.
  • Sample boxes and material swatches.
  • Digital deliverables (renderings, CAD files, 3D twins).
  • White-glove installation fees once the appointment has taken place.
